OVERVIEW – Tribe Grown was founded with an objective to train indigenous tribal and small scale farmers in producing high quality natural products; making them available to the urban consumers at an affordable price.

Our Late founder, Mr. Ravindra Wankhade had been studying the ecosystem and livelihood of tribes and rural for long time. The major problem for the small scale rural manufacturers is to access the urban markets, without multiple intermediate parties. It was then he envisioned creating a brand that would directly link these manufacturers to the urban customers, while providing the major share of the profits and in turn sustainable livelihood to the actual makers.

Our products include Wild Honey, Turmeric Powder and Desi Cow Ghee. All of our products are sourced from tribal and marginalised farmers from various wilds of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The products come from the remote lands, untouched by modernisation. The forests are blessed with a vast diversity of flora and fauna. The bees source their nectar from plants such as the Sheesham, Neem, Jamun, Mahuaa, Amaltas and thousands more, making the honey a rich source of vital nutrients. The lands are so fertile, that the turmeric can be grown with no pesticides or chemicals. The tribal cows are healthy and are forest grazed, making their milk abundant in nutrients. Furthermore, the milk is removed only after the calf has had its due. All of these factors contribute to the products being natural, high-quality and flavourful. Moreover, zero to minimum processing is used for the products, making it chemical and preservative free.
